The Boston Celtics acquired forward Juancho Hernangomez from the Memphis Grizzlies for guards Kris Dunn and Carsen Edwards, and the right to swap second-round draft picks in 2026.
What does it give the Boston Celtics
In Hernangomez, the Celtics add a forward who can play both positions coming off the bench. He can do a little bit of everything, without one dominant quality.
What does it give the Memphis Grizzlies
The Grizzlies get two more backup point guards for superstar Ja Morant in Dunn and Edwards. The pick swap is a bonus. Hernangomez was expendable.
Fantasy impact
None of the three players involved in this deal (Hernangomez, Dunn and Edwards) have much in the way of fantasy value. None need to be drafted in shallower leagues.
