Oni has not been able to crack an NBA rotation, but that is probably because of Utah's depth. He will get a much better opportunity with the Thunder.

The Jazz decided to move on from Oni because of their depth. They were able to land a second-round pick in '28 and some cash from Oklahoma City.
Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here until/unless Oni becomes a regular contributor with the Thunder. There is no need to pick him up at this time.
