PACERS, KINGS BLOCKBUSTER DEAL!

The Indiana Pacers acquired guard Tyrese Haliburton, forward/guard Buddy Hield and center/forward Tristan Thompson from the Sacramento Kings for center/forward Domantas Sabonis, guard/forwards Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday, and a second-round draft pick in 2027.

What does it give the Indiana Pacers
This is a real blockbuster deal! Haliburton is a very young, talented guard who should be the focal point of Indiana's rebuild. Hield also helps in that light. Thompson adds some depth at the two big positions now that Sabonis is gone. The Pacers are clearly going with a smaller lineup moving forward.

What does it give the Sacramento Kings
The Kings already had a lot of big men on the roster, but none as good as Sabonis. Sacramento sacrificed a lot of talent at shooting guard in order to get Sabonis, so they need both Lamb and Holiday to contribute. Otherwise, they may regret their decision to trade both Haliburton and Hield in the same deal.

Fantasy impact
It is business as usual for Haliburton, Sabonis and Hield. They had value before and they will have value moving forward. Lamb and Holiday could be the biggest fantasy winners after this deal, while Thompson has a chance to see more playing time in Indiana than was the case in Sacramento.
