The Charlotte Hornets acquired center Montrezl Harrell from the Washington Wizards for center Vernon Carey Jr., guard Ish Smith and a second-round draft pick in 2023.

The Hornets were in the market for a big man who can come off the bench and provide offense. They may have landed the best in that category in the form of Harrell, who should become a big factor for Charlotte down the stretch.
What does it give the Washington Wizards
The Wizards have a lot of big men this season, so Harrell was a little underutilized. So they decided to move him to Charlotte in exchange for backup point guard Smith, project center Carey Jr. and a second-rounder. Did they get enough in return?

Harrell could have a big impact in Charlotte off the bench, so he is worthy of being picked up in many fantasy leagues. Smith and Carey Jr. can be left in the free agent pool or on the waiver wire, however.
