MUSCALA MOVED TO BOSTON

The Boston Celtics acquired center/forward Mike Muscala from the Oklahoma City Thunder for forward/guard Justin Jackson and two future second-round draft picks.

What does it give the Boston Celtics
Muscala should provide the outside shooting from a big man that Danilo Gallinari (injured) was supposed to provide Boston this season. He is a solid addition, although he will have to fight for his minutes on the Celtics.

What does it give the Oklahoma City Thunder
In exchange for Muscala, who was productive but not part of the Thunder's future plans, Oklahoma City GM Sam Presti was able to land two more future second-round draft picks. Jackson was a throw-in here.

Fantasy impact
Muscala's fantasy stock figures to drop in Boston, where he will have to fight for consistent playing time down the stretch. Jackson can be safely ignored in most fantasy formats.
