The Atlanta Hawks acquired center Bruno Fernando and guard/forward Garrison Mathews from the Houston Rockets for forward/guard Justin Holiday, center/forward Frank Kaminsky, a second-round draft pick in 2024 and a second-round draft pick in 2025.

What does it give the Atlanta Hawks
Fernando returns to Atlanta to provide center depth behind Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu. Mathews replaces Holiday on the roster as a depth wing option.

What does it give the Houston Rockets
The second-round draft picks acquired by Houston in this trade are keys for them. Holiday and Kaminsky provide depth and replace the departed Mathews and Fernando.
