The Oklahoma City Thunder acquired forward Davis Bertans and a first-round draft pick in 2023 (No. 10 overall) from the Dallas Mavericks for a first-round draft pick in 2023 (No. 12 overall).

What does it give the Oklahoma City Thunder
For the Thunder, it remains to be seen whether Bertans has a future in Oklahoma City. This deal is mostly about the pick swap, which netted OKC Cason Wallace.

What does it give the Dallas Mavericks
The Mavericks may have landed their 2023-24 starting center with this deal in the form of Dereck Lively II. They also shed salary by moving out Bertans, which is huge.

Fantasy impact
Bertans still has little fantasy value because his status remains unknown. He is unlikely to become a factor in 2023-24. Both Wallace and Lively II are on the radar, but mainly in keeper and dynasty leagues.
