The Indiana Pacers acquired forward Obi Toppin from the New York Knicks for two future second-round draft picks.

What does it give the Indiana Pacers
Toppin adds more size to Indiana's frontcourt, and he is expected to compete with '23 first-rounder Jarace Walker for the starting power forward gig. Toppin is five years older than Walker, so his experience may serve him well.

What does it give the New York Knicks
It was a disappointing run for Toppin in New York City, as he was never able to become fully established on the team. Being a backup to power forward Julius Randle did not help. The Knicks decided to move on from Toppin.

Fantasy impact
Toppin's fantasy value is definitely on the rise, but he must take full advantage of this latest opportunity in Indiana. Draft him as a late-round flier and hope for the best.
