The Detroit Pistons acquired forward Danuel House Jr., a second-round draft pick in 2024 and cash considerations from the Philadelphia 76ers for a second-round draft pick in 2028.

What does it give the Detroit Pistons
The struggling Pistons take on House Jr.'s contract and are expected to waive him. For doing so, they will get to improve in the short term with another draft pick this year and cash.

What does it give the Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers free up cap space by moving out House Jr., a veteran role player on an expiring contract. As they push for the playoffs, they now have more flexibility to improve their roster.
