BULLS ADD C.J. WATSON

The Chicago Bulls acquired guard C.J. Watson from the Golden State Warriors for a second-round draft pick in 2011.

What does it give the Chicago Bulls
Watson should prove to be a very reliable and above-average backup to star point guard Derrick Rose, and helps fill the void left in Chicago's backcourt rotation by the trade of Kirk Hinrich and the losses of Flip Murray and Jannero Pargo.

What does it give the Golden State Warriors
By helping the Bulls sign Watson (who was a restricted free agent) to the contract he wanted here, the Warriors get at least a little compensation for losing a quality player. They they have a less-expensive sleeper in Jeremy Lin to take Watson's place as backup to star point guard Stephen Curry.
