The Brooklyn Nets acquired guard/forward Ziaire Williams and a second-round draft pick in 2030 from the Memphis Grizzlies for forward Mamadi Diakite and guard Nemanja Dangubic.

Williams should get a better opportunity with the Nets, a team that is a lot further away from contention than the Grizzlies. Brooklyn is also getting a future second-rounder in this deal.
What does it give the Memphis Grizzlies
The Nets are giving Williams a chance to play more by trading him, while it also opens up a spot in the team's rotation. Diakite is a depth forward, while Dangubic should remain overseas.

Is Williams worth picking up at this time? Maybe in very deep leagues. Otherwise, keep an eye on him throughout the 2024-25 season with Brooklyn. Diakite has no fantasy value.
