With both Isaiah Jackson and James Wiseman out with long-term injuries, the Pacers needed help at center. Bryant should provide decent backup minutes behind Myles Turner.
What does it give the Miami Heat
The Heat were not utilizing Bryant much at all this season, so they did the player a favor by sending him to Indiana. Miami will get to choose if they want to swap picks with the Pacers in '31.
Fantasy impact
Bryant is unlikely to play enough minutes with the Pacers to be worthy of picking up in many fantasy basketball formats. Pass.
