WOLTERS TO BUCKS, LEDO TO MAVS IN 4-TEAMER

The Milwaukee Bucks acquired point guard Nate Wolters from the Philadelphia 76ers for the rights to shooting guard Ricky Ledo. The 76ers then trade Ledo to the Atlanta Hawks for future considerations. Atlanta completes the deal by trading Ricky Ledo to the Dallas Mavericks for a 2014 second-round draft pick.

What does it give the Milwaukee Bucks
If second-round pick Wolters makes the Bucks he will be a very solid rotation for them fairly soon, as he has a lot of skill and can be a lead guard. He is more polished than also-second-rounder Ledo (although may not have quite as much pure long-term star potential).

What does it give the Philadelphia 76ers
The Sixers have a lot of swingmen already so adding another one probably didn't make a lot of sense depth-wise. They also have to pay for first-round picks {P Nerlens Noel} and {P Michael Carter-Williams}, so they save some salary by moving Ledo's rights while getting something in the bargain in the future considerations.

What does it give the Atlanta Hawks
Ledo might have been another nice long-range prospect to add along young draftees {P Lucas Nogueira} and {P Dennis Schroeder}, but Atlanta has costs constraints like any team and obviously saw Dallas had an interest in acquiring Ledo. The Hawks also add a 2014 second-round pick here so this is a solid low-cost transaction for them.

What does it give the Dallas Mavericks
Dallas seems to be trying to re-tool their roster quickly and while Ledo is more a long-term prospect, his rights were acquired here at a very low cost. Ledo has some outside potential at stardom down the road, so this is a solid depth move by Dallas.

Fantasy impact
Wolters can probably step in and be a sixth man type right away backing up both guard spots in Milwaukee, but as mentioned he needs to make the team first. If he gets a regular rotation spot he has solid sleeper potential, but a lot depends on what happens in free agency for the Bucks. Ledo is a long-term keeper sleeper type who likely won't see a lot of NBA playing time this year, but he has above-average scoring talent and all-round potential.
