HEAT GET RIGHTS TO SUPER-ATHLETIC ENNIS

The Miami Heat acquired the draft rights to guard-forward James Ennis from the Atlanta Hawks for a future second-round draft pick.

What does it give the Atlanta Hawks
The Hawks were busy on draft night and added three contracts for the future (draftees {P Dennis Schroeder} and {P Lucas Nogueira}, and combo guard {P Jared Cunningham} in a trade), so it's not surprising they decided to move their chance for a fourth (considering the roster limit and financial implications). It makes sense for them to get something in return for a resource they weren't going to use, so a future second-rounder is logical compensation.

What does it give the Miami Heat
Ennis has major sleeper appeal and is a perfect fit for Miami's style of play: he's highly athletic, has good size, and can likely play several positions in the NBA. If Ennis makes the Heat's roster next season he can probably help them (especially with many of Miami's backups getting long in the tooth).

Fantasy impact
Ennis probably doesn't have a chance to be a big-minute regular for the star-studded Heat, but he's a nice long-range keeper to put on the radar for the future. He has great athleticism. Obviously nothing changes fantasy-wise for the Hawks.
