Manages the offense well and leads with smarts, confidence, and accuracy. Extremely polished: has seamless mechanics, is super-smooth releasing the ball, and is usually balanced and ready after the snap. Calm, diagnoses quickly, shows nice touch on mid-range passes, and is nimble running play action. Not a power thrower and isn't a top-tier athlete or scrambling option. Mostly limited to the pocket (although he's mobile there) and gets into trouble when forced to throw deep routes. Best suited to rhythm offenses that focus on short- and-mid-range passes.
