Was a playmaker who could be used in a variety of ways: running the ball out of the backfield, catching it from the slot and returning it on special teams. Was built like a tailback at slot receiver. Had significant big-play capability, was very explosive out of the gate and had superb acceleration. Worked hard, was intense and mature. Did not have great long speed and was more quick than fast. Lacked ideal overall size for the wide receiver position as a pro, and did not refine his craft as a route runner enough to get the most out of his athleticism.
