CHIEFS, SEAHAWKS SWAP LINEBACKERS

The Kansas City Chiefs acquired linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis from the Seattle Seahawks for linebacker D.J. Alexander.

What does it give the Kansas City Chiefs
This is a straight swap of special teams linebackers, with Pierre-Louis a bit more versatile (he can play outside or inside linebacker in either a 3-4 or 4-3 defense. That said, he will mostly play special teams for Kansas City.

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
Alexander is coming off a spectacular season on special teams for the Chiefs, so the Seahawks hope he can duplicate it in the NFC West division as a member of the 'Hawks. He is mostly a backup inside linebacker.

Fantasy impact
Neither Pierre-Louis nor Alexander has much in the way of fantasy value, since they are mostly special teams performers.
