CHIEFS ADD INSIDE 'BACKER REGGIE RAGLAND

The Kansas City Chiefs acquired linebacker Reggie Ragland from the Bufflao Bills for a fourth-round draft pick in 2019.

What does it give the Kansas City Chiefs
In Ragland, the Chiefs land an upgrade at inside linebacker from veteran Josh Mauga, who was subsequently released to make room for Ragland on the roster. He is a solid 3-4 'backer who should push Ramik Wilson throughout 2017. Ragland is a nice addition for Kansas City.

What does it give the Buffalo Bills
Simply put, Ragland was no longer a fit for the Bills, who have switched from the 3-4 defense of the Rex Ryan era to a 4-3 defense under new coach Sean McDermott. Therefore, Ragland needed to be moved because he was not going to unseat Preston Brown at middle linebacker.

Fantasy impact
Ragland does not have much value in IDP fantasy leagues THIS season, mostly because he may not become a starter until the second half of 2017. However, in 2018 he could be one to watch as a tackles machine.
