COLTS JETTISON HENRY ANDERSON TO THE JETS

The New York Jets acquired defensive lineman Henry Anderson from the Indianapolis Colts for a seventh-round draft pick in 2018 (No. 235 overall).

What does it give the New York Jets
The Jets lost Muhammad Wilkerson earlier this off-season when the team released the veteran defensive end. So, they needed a replacement and hope Anderson can fill the hole. The Jets also drafted Nathan Shepherd with the hope of helping Anderson in terms of depth opposite Leonard Williams.

What does it give the Indianapolis Colts
The Colts gave up on Anderson, who was a starter for them until he was placed on Injured Reserve last year with a laryngeal fracture. Indianapolis has made a ton of changes on defense this off-season, so it should not be a surprise that Anderson was moved. Did Indy get enough, though?

Fantasy impact
Anderson is not a threat to post significant sacks totals but he is an important addition to the Jets roster. Fantasy leaguers in IDP formats can safely ignore Anderson.
