BILLS' BODINE BROUGHT IN BY NEW ENGLAND

The New England Patriots acquired center Russell Bodine from the Buffalo Bills for a sixth-round draft pick in 2020.

What does it give the New England Patriots
The Patriots have center issues because veteran David Andrews may be forced to sit out 2019 due to a blood clot situation. Enter Bodine, who has plenty of starting experience but may start out as the backup to Ted Karras in New England. This move solves a potential problem.

What does it give the Buffalo Bills
Why would the division-rival Bills help the eternal AFC East champions? Bodine was not going to start in Buffalo after the arrival of Mitch Morse, but the Bills may have been better off sending Bodine somewhere (anywhere?) else. Is a sixth-rounder worth trading with the enemy?

Fantasy impact
New England's offense should be very dangerous this season, so any offensive line additions only add to the team's embarrassment of riches.
