NGAKOUE ADDED BY BALTIMORE

The Baltimore Ravens acquired defensive end Yannick Ngakoue from the Minnesota Vikings for a third-round draft pick in 2021 and a conditional fifth-round draft pick in 2022.

What does it give the Baltimore Ravens
This is a bold move by Baltimore, since they already featured a strong pass rush (and defense, overall). Ngakoue will make them even tougher to line up against. Whether he plays a traditional end, outside linebacker or the Ravens-specific RUSH end role with his new team remains to be seen.

What does it give the Minnesota Vikings
Is this an admission of defeat by Minnesota? Are they throwing in the towel in 2020? The Vikings decided to recoup some draft picks after they sent two similar picks to the Jaguars to land Ngakoue in late August. After reversing course here, Minnesota may decide to dump more veterans before the trade deadline.

Fantasy impact
There are few defensive ends/edge rushers that can match Ngakoue's fantasy value when he is on top of his game. Therefore, the move to Baltimore should make him even more appealing. Pick Ngakoue up in IDP leagues if he is still available!
