SEAHAWKS GET GUARD GABE JACKSON

The Seattle Seahawks acquired guard Gabe Jackson from the Las Vegas Raiders for a fifth-round draft pick in 2021.

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
This is a major upgrade for Seattle's offensive line (which was a main issue for quarterback Russell Wilson in 2020). Wilson has hinted that he might prefer to be elsewhere, so perhaps this move can help mend fences between the star quarterback and the Seahawks. Jackson is expected to start at right guard, with Damien Lewis moving over to the left side.

What does it give the Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have completely overhauled their offensive line this off-season, which seems like a move designed to reallocate resourced to other positions on the team. Without Jackson, look for Denzelle Good to take over at right guard in 2021. Good, who can also play tackle, spelled Jackson in 2020 and was solid.

Fantasy impact
Seattle's ground game may get a boost with Jackson now on board, but the Seahawks must have a happy Wilson around in order for this trade to matter.
