FLOWERS FINDS HIS WAY BACK TO D.C.

The Washington Football Team acquired offensive lineman Ereck Flowers and a seventh-round draft pick in 2021 from the Miami Dolphins for a seventh-round draft pick in 2021.

What does it give the Washington Commanders
Flowers played very well in 2019 as a member of the Washington Football Team, so returning to D.C. could do wonders for his fledgling career. He can play both tackle and guard, which helps when formulating an offensive line. Expect veteran Flowers to play guard again in Washington.

What does it give the Miami Dolphins
For the Dolphins, this is a clear salary dump. Getting rid of Flowers should be viewed as a win for Miami because of his struggles last season with the Fish. They got very little in return here, but created some important cap space. The Dolphins will likely address their O-line issues at the draft.

Fantasy impact
There is no direct impact for fantasy leaguers here, although Washington should have better offensive line play in 2021with the return of Flowers.
