ANTHONY MILLER MOVED TO HOUSTON

The Houston Texans acquired wide receiver Anthony Miller and a seventh-round draft pick in 2022 from the Chicago Bears for a fifth-round draft pick in 2022.

What does it give the Houston Texans
In Miller, the Texans land a young wide receiver who has yet to break out in the NFL. He has mostly played in the slot with Chicago, but the Texans currently have veteran Randall Cobb at that position. Look for Miller to either unseat Cobb in what is shaping up to be a rebuilding year in Houston, or possibly kick outside.

What does it give the Chicago Bears
Miller was viewed as an underachiever in Chicago, so it is no surprise that he was dealt to the Texans before training camp really got under way. In three seasons with the Bears, Miller failed to establish himself as a real threat in the slot (despite missing only one game in three seasons). The pick swap is a bonus.

Fantasy impact
With the quarterback position still very much in a state of flux for the Texans, Miller is not really a recommended draft option at this time. If Deshaun Watson somehow remains with Houston this season, which is highly unlikely, then Miller could become an interesting late-round draft option.
