DENVER DEALS FOR KENNY YOUNG

The Denver Broncos acquired linebacker Kenny Young and a seventh-round draft pick in 2024 from the Los Angeles Rams for a sixth-round draft pick in 2024.

What does it give the Denver Broncos
The Broncos keep losing linebackers every time they step onto the field, which has forced them to make trades to get help. Young should be a good addition as a playmaking inside linebacker and should help ease the losses of Alexander Johnson, Josey Jewell and others.

What does it give the Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are the opposite of Denver at this time: they are incredibly healthy. Therefore, they felt they could afford to deal Young, who was very productive for Los Angeles over the course of his stint with them. The Rams got a late-round pick upgrade here, but lost a solid player.

Fantasy impact
If Young was already on IDP fantasy rosters, he should be kept for the time being. If he was not, he should not be picked up right away. Take a wait-and-see approach here, as he needs to make an adjustment to his new team and surroundings.
