BILLS BRING IN CASE KEENUM
The Buffalo Bills acquired quarterback Case Keenum from the Cleveland Browns for a seventh-round draft pick in 2022 (No. 247 overall).
What does it give the Buffalo Bills
The Bills lost backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky in free agency, so they decided to surrender a late draft pick for Keenum. Buffalo should continue to have a strong insurance policy in case something happens to franchise QB Josh Allen.
What does it give the Cleveland Browns
The Browns are overhauling their quarterback room this off-season, so they decided to move on from Keenum (despite the fact he was serviceable for them in 2021). Cleveland will receive a late-round pick in this year's draft.
Fantasy impact
For Allen fantasy owners, drafting Keenum late is a good idea. He is a decent quarterback and Buffalo's offense is among the best in the NFL, so picking him up makes sense.
