MULLENS MOVED TO MINNESOTA

The Minnesota Vikings acquired quarterback Nick Mullens from the Las Vegas Raiders for a conditional seventh-round draft in 2024.

What does it give the Minnesota Vikings
Unhappy with the backup situation, the Vikings decided to bring in Mullens to upgrade the No. 2 QB position behind starter Kirk Cousins. This move is bad news for both Sean Mannion and Kellen Mond.

What does it give the Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders appear set at the quarterback position heading into 2022. Derek Carr is the starter and newcomer Jarrett Stidham has earned the backup job, which made Mullens expendable.

Fantasy impact
Mullens is very erratic as a quarterback, so there is no need to pick him up in most fantasy leagues. Cousins fantasy owners may consider Mullens as a handcuff, but there should be better options available.
