The Carolina Panthers acquired wide receiver Laviska Shenault from the Jacksonville Jaguars for a seventh-round draft pick in 2023 and a sixth-round draft pick in 2024.

What does it give the Carolina Panthers
Carolina was seeking additional depth at wideout, so picking up Shenault for two late draft picks makes a ton of sense. Perhaps Shenault can revive his career with the Panthers. The trade helps in that regard.

What does it give the Jacksonville Jaguars
For the Jaguars, this was always the most likely outcome for Shenault since the new regime took over. Jacksonville has enough depth at wide receiver after their off-season moves; they at least got futures back.

Fantasy impact
While Shenault should still go undrafted in many standard league formats, this trade puts him back on the fantasy draft radar. He has a chance to eventually move up the depth chart and make an impact. Consider him a fantasy sleeper at this time.
