The Kansas City Chiefs acquired wide receiver Kadarius Toney from the New York Giants for a third-round compensatory draft pick in 2023 and a sixth-round draft pick in 2023.

What does it give the Kansas City Chiefs
Toney has loads of talent but he has been beset by injuries so far in his NFL career. He has also been an unhappy camper in New York. Perhaps catching passes from Patrick Mahomes will change that?

What does it give the New York Giants
The Giants dealt away a player whose commitment to the team had become an issue. In return, New York will receive two draft picks in '23. Moving on from Toney was the most important thing here.

Fantasy impact
Toney's fantasy fortunes have just skyrocketed after this deal. He could become a major weapon for the Chiefs down the stretch. That said, he must first get healthy. Then he must deal with the competition at wide receiver in Kansas City. However, pick Toney up immediately if he is available in all league formats (especially keeper leagues).
