HOCKENSON HEADED TO MINNESOTA!

The Minnesota Vikings acquired tight end T.J. Hockenson, a fourth-round draft pick in 2023 and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2024 from the Detroit Lions for a second-round draft pick in 2023 and a third-round draft pick in 2024.

What does it give the Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings clearly want more production from the tight end position, so Hockenson should help them immensely in that area. He is a terrific talent who should enjoy receiving passes from accurate veteran Kirk Cousins at quarterback. Great move, Minnesota!

What does it give the Detroit Lions
Detroit continues to struggle, despite their best intentions. Expectations were positive heading into 2022, but the Lions once again find themselves in the NFC North basement. Therefore, they decided to sell one of their top players for draft pick compensation.

Fantasy impact
Hockenson fantasy owners should rejoice after the move from Detroit to Minnesota. Hockenson's talent never really matched production in Detroit, and the team's shaky quarterback play is a huge reason why. Hockenson should be picked up if ever he is available in any league format. His stock is rising!
