WILLIAM JACKSON JETTISONED TO PITTSBURGH

The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired cornerback William Jackson III and a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2025 from the Washington Commanders for conditional sixth-round draft pick in 2025.

What does it give the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are familiar with Jackson, who spent most of his career inside the AFC North with the Bengals. He should help a Pittsburgh defense that needs help in the secondary.

What does it give the Washington Commanders
Washington was going to release Jackson, who fell out of favor with the team earlier this season. Instead, they will get a draft pick upgrade in exchange for his services. Good move by Washington at this time.
