JACKSONVILLE REELS IN RIDLEY

The Jacksonville Jaguars acquired wide receiver Calvin Ridley from the Atlanta Falcons for a conditional fifth-round draft pick in 2023 and a conditional second-round draft pick in 2024.

What does it give the Jacksonville Jaguars
This is a good gamble by the Jaguars, who will have to wait for the suspended Ridley to be reinstated by the NFL before he suits up for them. Ridley will not play in 2022 but has the talent to emerge as Jacksonville's No. 1 receiver...eventually.

What does it give the Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta will receive either a fifth or sixth rounder in 2023, and either a second, third or fourth rounder the following year. Ridley has to meet several conditions, so the Falcons may not know what the eventual return is in this trade for some time to come.

Fantasy impact
Nobody has to bother picking Ridley up in yearly leagues, but he does have some immediate appeal in deep keeper formats.
