BILLS DEAL BASHAM TO GIANTS

The New York Giants acquired defensive end Boogie Basham and a seventh-round draft pick in 2025 from the Buffalo Bills for a sixth-round draft pick in 2025.

What does it give the New York Giants
Basham adds depth as an edge rusher to a Giants defense that could use a few more proven performers. He should become part of the defensive rotation in 2023.

What does it give the Buffalo Bills
The Bills are deep at defensive end, so Basham was deemed expendable (despite the fact that Von Miller is currently sidelined due to injury and will begin 2023 on the PUP list).

Fantasy impact
There is no need to draft Basham in IDP leagues, since he is likely to play a backup role in New York.
