What does it give the New England Patriots
New England's cornerback situation is ugly right now, with Jonathan Jones, Marcus Jones, Jack Jones and Christian Gonzalez all injured. Jackson knows the Bill Belichick system, so expect Jackson to make an immediate impact with the Pats.
What does it give the Los Angeles Chargers
Jackson clearly fell out of favor with the Chargers, so it is not surprising to see him move on at this stage of the 2023 NFL season. Los Angeles will receive a one-round upgrade in the '25 draft in return, which is not much for Jackson.
Fantasy impact
There is no fantasy impact here, as Jackson is probably going to come off the bench with New England once some of the Jones corners return to action. Pass on Jackson.
