So far this season Peoples-Jones has 8 catches for 97 yards and no touchdowns. In Detroit he will most likely be the third or fourth option behind St. Brown and Williams. The native of Detroit will help fill the void left by Marvin Jones Jr. who was released by the team to attend to personal matters.
What does it give the Cleveland Browns
The Browns weren't using Peoples-Jones as a key target in their passing attack so they decided to give the player a fresh start in his hometown. This will give some of their other receivers a chance to establish themselves.
Fantasy impact
Peoples-Jones wasn't targeted enough in Cleveland to be a fantasy option. Be in wait and see mode with him in Detroit until the Lions integrate him more into their offensive scheme.
