BILLS BOLSTER DEFENCE WITH DOUGLAS

The Buffalo Bills acquired cornerback Rasul Douglas and a fifth-round draft pick in 2024 from the Green Bay Packers for a third-round draft pick in 2024.

What does it give the Buffalo Bills
Douglas has started every game for the Packers so far this season. Expect him to continue to start now that he is in Buffalo. He should help offset the loss of Tre'Davious White and bring a needed to boost to the Bills secondary. With all the elite quarterbacks the Bills have to play in the AFC they will need Douglas' veteran experience to shine through if they have any chance of advancing in the playoffs.

What does it give the Green Bay Packers
For the 2-5 Packers they get really good value for a player that won't be in his prime when they are ready to return to the playoffs. They can fill the void left by Douglas in the offseason while adding another top-100 draft pick in the 2024 Draft to go along the ones they acquired in the Aaron Rodgers trade. They will be busy on the first two days of the draft.
