DIGGS DEALT TO THE TEXANS!

The Houston Texans acquired wide receiver Stefon Diggs, a fifth-round draft pick in 2025 and a sixth-round draft pick in 2025 from the Buffalo Bills for a second-round draft pick in 2025.

What does it give the Houston Texans
In Diggs, the Texans land a proven veteran wide receiver to team with emerging stars Nico Collins and Tank Dell. Diggs should remain productive in Houston, despite losing Josh Allen as his quarterback. CJ Stroud is an emerging star QB, so this move helps Houston's offense overall.

What does it give the Buffalo Bills
For the Bills, this move is somewhat surprising. Buffalo is getting closer and closer to a Super Bowl berth, but continue to fall just short of expectations. Diggs is a bit mercurial and there have been reports of friction between himself and some of his teammates, but his is a huge loss.

Fantasy impact
Do not overrate Diggs on draft day this year. There are now more options in the passing offense for Houston than there was in Buffalo. Diggs could still be a decent fantasy receiver in 2024, but do not draft him based on his name alone.
