The Kansas City Chiefs acquired linebacker Joshua Uche from the New England Patriots for a sixth-round draft pick in 2026.
What does it give the Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are undefeated, but that does not mean they are a perfect team this season. Uche should provide more pass-rushing acumen in the second half of the season. He has mostly played outside linebacker in the NFL, but with Kansas City he is probably going to be a defensive end.
What does it give the New England Patriots
The Patriots decided to sell off one of their edge rushers, despite trading away Matt Judon to Atlanta before this season began. New England will get back a sixth-rounder in '26. The Pats have underachieved on defense this season, so this move may send a strong message to the locker room.
Fantasy impact
As a situational pass rusher, Uche's stock may improve going to KC. However, there should be better options in many IDP leagues. Pass.
