BRONCOS BRING IN GUARD MOFFITT, MOVE SILIGA

The Denver Broncos acquired offensive guard John Moffitt from the Seattle Seahawks for defensive tackle Sealver Siliga.

What does it give the Denver Broncos
The Broncos have been trying to fill holes on their banged-up O-line all preseason, and in Moffitt they add a talented (if also slightly banged-up himself) guard. Moffitt is a starter talent but he failed his physical when traded to Cleveland earlier this week, so he'll need to prove he can stay on the field with the Broncos. If he can, expect him to be a regular rotational guard for Denver (and perhaps a starter).

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks seemed intent on moving Moffitt this week, first trying to trade him to Cleveland (for depth D-lineman {P=12923 Brian Sanford}) and now shipping him to Denver in return for depth D-lineman Siliga. Seattle seems committed to {P J.R. Sweezy} at right guard so former starter Moffitt became expendable. Siliga fills the spot Sanford was supposed to, adding solid (if not stellar) depth to Seattle's somewhat injury-plagued defensive line.

Fantasy impact
Neither of these two players changes the fantasy landscape for either of their respective new teams, but Moffitt is the more proven performer and his blocking might give a small boost to {P Peyton Manning}, {P Montee Ball}, and {P Ronnie Hillman}.
