SEAHAWKS ADD CORNER HELP IN BURLEY

The Seattle Seahawks acquired defensive back Marcus Burley from the Indianapolis Colts for a sixth-round draft pick in 2015.

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks have lost a bit of depth in their defensive secondary following their Super Bowl victory last season, so adding Burley could prove to be a solid move for 2014. He has the feisty, physical game the Seahawks tend to covet in their defensive backs, so should be a nice addition to their already-excellent unit (although a lack of size may limit him to situational duty).

What does it give the Indianapolis Colts
Burley never played a regular-season game for Indianapolis and was a practice-squad player last season (with Jacksonville, Philadelphia and St. Louis). He has yet to play in the NFL. The Colts have a lot of depth in the secondary already, so while Burley may be a sleeper candidate he was the odd man out in Indy.

Fantasy impact
Burley could become a solid depth factor in Seattle on arguably the NFL's best defense, but barring injuries it's tough to see him taking on a big role right away. That said, the Seahawks do a nice job coaching up their defensive backs, so this move lands Burley on the deep sleeper radar in fantasy leagues featuring individual defensive players.
