VET O-LINEMAN CLARK TRADED TO TEXANS

The Houston Texans acquired offensive lineman Chris Clark from the Denver Broncos for a 7th-round draft pick in 2016.

What does it give the Houston Texans
Clark provides some solid (although not stellar) depth to a banged-up Houston O-line. He doesn't project as a starter, but has the experience to step in and play several different roles if needed (and he can start in a pinch). Clark also has an expiring and somewhat-affordable contract.

What does it give the Denver Broncos
The Broncos have emerging offensive lineman Michael Schofield to step in and take Clark's spot, so for the Texans this move is probably primarily about saving a little cash. Clark provided solid depth and the ability to be a fill-in starter, but he isn't a top performer and gets caught in a numbers crunch here with rosters set soon.

Fantasy impact
As a backup offensive lineman Clark has little to no fantasy value in most leagues and formats. This trade is highly unlikely to affect either of Denver's or Houston's offenses.
