SEAHAWKS LAND SAFETY HELP IN McCRAY

The Seattle Seahawks acquired defensive back Kelcie McCray from the Kansas City Chiefs for a fifth-round draft pick in 2016.

What does it give the Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks needed more help at safety, especially because of the holdout of veteran strong safety Kam Chancellor. Therefore, adding McCray at this time makes a ton of sense for Seattle.

What does it give the Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs have plenty of depth at safety, especially since veteran Eric Berry is back from illness. Therefore, the club accepted a fifth rounder in exchange for one of their backup DB's. Good move.

Fantasy impact
This deal won't change much in terms of the two teams' secondaries. Both the Seahawks and Chiefs have potentially dominant defenses once again in 2015. McCray's presence may not prevent the 'Hawks from getting a deal with Chancellor done but it gives them more options.
