The New Orleans Saints acquired defensive lineman/linebacker Chris McCain from the Miami Dolphins for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2017.

What does it give the New Orleans Saints
The Saints need help in the pass-rushing department after losing linebacker Hau'oli Kikaha for the entire 2016 season, so McCain may be able to help them as a situational pass rusher from the edge.

What does it give the Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins did not use McCain much, and he was shuffled around between linebacker and defensive end. In the end, they decided to cut ties with the 24-year-old pass rusher without much in return.

Fantasy impact
McCain might be able to earn a few sacks with New Orleans, but he won't play enough (or make enough of a defensive impact) to be a viable fantasy option in 2016.
