HOLLAND HEADS TO CHICAGO

The Chicago Blackhawks acquired center Peter Holland from the New York Rangers for defenseman Darren Raddysh.

What does it give the Chicago Blackhawks
In Holland, the Blackhawks land a journeyman center who has spent all of 2018-19 (so far) at the American Hockey League level. He adds organizational depth but may not see time in Chicago this season.

What does it give the New York Rangers
This is a solid trade for the Rangers, who get a youngish defenseman (Raddysh turns 23 later this month) in exchange for a veteran journeyman who did not figure into their long-term plans.

Fantasy impact
Holland provides no fantasy impact whatsoever. Raddysh will have to impress the Rangers, and leapfrog over a few other young blueliners in the system, in order to become a fantasy factor. Take a wait-and-see approach with Raddysh.
