The Vancouver Canucks acquired center Craig Darby from the Tampa Bay Lightning for future considerations.

What does it give the Vancouver Canucks
Darby will merely provide veteran depth at center, and should enjoy success with the AHL's Manitoba Moose in 2005-06.

What does it give the Tampa Bay Lightning
There was never going to be room for Darby in Tampa Bay, so the club essentially did Darby a favor.
