CARTER TRADED AGAIN--THIS TIME TO L.A.

The Los Angeles Kings acquired winger Anson Carter from the Washington Capitals for center Jared Aulin.

What does it give the Los Angeles Kings
The Kings have survived a bevy of serious injuries to key players this season but have so far maintained a spot in the playoffs. Carter will help the club immensely as a top-six forward, since he should return to past form now that he's back in the Western Conference. The Kings are his fourth team in a calendar year but Carter may finally find a home in Southern California.

What does it give the Washington Capitals
In Aulin, the Caps receive a quality center prospect but an injured one. Aulin has been out all season because of left shoulder surgery but could immediately fill a hole in Washington up the middle next year. He also adds to Caps' WHL graduates quota.
