The Nashville Predators acquired forward Jan Hlavac from the Tampa Bay Lightning for a seventh-round draft pick.
What does it give the Tampa Bay Lightning
A way to dispense of another veteran forward who wasn't really performing
for them. The pick isn't great, but it may do them more good than Hlavac was
doing for them this season.
What does it give the Nashville Predators
Hlavac might be another veteran reclamation for a team that tends to like
them. He certainly has the skills to be a contributor for them on one of the
top three lines, and with injuries to several Nashville wingers he may get a
shot.
