The Chicago Blackkawks acquired defenseman Cooper Zech from the Philadelphia Flyers for forward Evan Barratt.

This is a change of scenery trade for both players. Zech will try to climb the organizational ladder in Chicago, after failing to do so in Philadelphia.

What does it give the Philadelphia Flyers
For the Flyers, Barratt represents organizational forward depth. He is expected to spend most (if not all) of '22-23 with the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
