BLUE JACKETS SEND ROBINSON TO BUFFALO

The Buffalo Sabres acquired forward Eric Robinson from the Columbus Blue Jackets for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2025.

What does it give the Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres did not give up much in this deal, but Robinson is hardly an impact player. He is a serviceable defensive forward who should help out on the penalty kill. That is pretty much it.

What does it give the Columbus Blue Jackets
Expect the Blue Jackets to be very active on the trade front this season. This could be the first of many moves made, but will GM Jarmo Kekalainen be the one making deals?
