What does it give the San Jose Sharks
The Sharks are sellers at the deadline, and Kunin was a pending unrestricted free agent. Therefore, it was an obvious move to trade Kunin today. The return was a fourth-round draft pick, which is a little light considering this sellers' market.
Fantasy impact
Kunin will likely play a bottom-six forward role with the Blue Jackets, so he is probably not going to get much in terms of fantasy points. Pass.
